There is no denying MARC by Marc Jacobs bags are a budget-savvy shoppers best friend. We know that, but who knew Rachel Bilson did too? The actress/fashionista, known for wearing stylish frocks and carrying killer designer handbags, is sporting the MARC by Marc Jacobs Petal to the Metal Sasha Shoulder Bag.
This $500 design is urban chic and totally utilitarian. There are a slew of pockets and storage options on the 'Sasha' not to mention the sumptuous leather exterior that rivals the leather used on the bags from its' high-end sister label. For those of you that have kept up with my MARC handbag reviews on Señora Cartera, you won't be surprised by my utter distaste for the stupid decorative bird hardware on Jacobs' latest batch of bags. I know everyone loves them, but I think they're ridiculous. Other than that, this bag is golden. The Sasha Shoulder Bag is sold out on-line, but net-a-porter.com and madisonlosangeles.com have the cement (light grey) version of Rachel's bag in stock so hurry and scoop one up if you're interested.
